How did this handsome fella come into your life?
He was a 50th birthday present from a very dear friend.

Why “Dutch”?
Well, I always thought that if I ever had a dog, his name should be Dutch…because I’m Dutch, from Amsterdam. It’s a great dog name.

What’s the best thing about having your pooch?
Although I am teaching him things, he’s teaching me as well. And of course, the wagging tail when I come home.

What’s his personality like?
He’s a little wise guy—he has this wise-beyond-his-years look in his eyes. Sometimes I think there’s a little human inside of him…

Does Dutch have a splurge food?
Freeze-dried liver treats.

If Dutch had a human voice, whose would it sound like?
A young James Earl Jones.

Stay tuned as our Pet Project series will continue each Friday…

J.Crew Goes To Italy Part III

At Thomas Mason®: spools of super-refined thread. The finer the thread, the higher the thread count of the finished fabric—and the harder it is to make, because delicate thread is more prone to snapping, which can ruin the entire bolt.
1. It all starts with a single thread—and each one has to be hand fed into the loom before weaving can commence.
2. A hand-tied knot keeps loomed threads from unraveling.
3. A sampling of finished goods.

Check out the video and stay tuned for part 3!
