the LA-based founder and creative director is referred to as the “king of
designer jeans.” this season, the cult label will launch a capsule collection,
dubbed Goldsign for J.Crew, inspired by Hollywood pinups like Norma Jeane
Baker (aka Marilyn Monroe). we chatted with Goldschmied (a man of few but
carefully chosen words) on a recent visit to our offices.
What makes Los Angeles feel like home?
