Test Drive: Tanner Goods™ Camera Bag

we had fashion photographer Hans Neumann try out our new Tanner Goods
camera bag during a scouting trip in upstate New York. we wanted to see how
this heavy-duty canvas bag from our In Good Company partner really looks
(and fares) out in the field…
About Hans:
Hans hails from the south—way south—as in Lima, Peru, where he studied law
before embarking on a career as a photographer. In 2004, he moved to New York
City, assisting photographers such as Cedric Buchet and, later, fellow Peruvian
Mario Testino. He now shoots editorials for W, Elle, Vogue China and Velour
magazines. “My love of photography was borne of a love for telling a narrative.
I wanted to be a writer, but I discovered photography and loved the idea of
capturing a moment on film.”

Where he’s off to next:
“On the calendar this season is a trip across the Pacific to China. Paris is pending,
but it looks like August will be spent in Brazil.”

The verdict:
“I used the camera bag while I was location scouting in upstate New York. I’m tall,
so even with an adjustable strap [this one extends to 46”] the bag was a bit tricky to
wear as a crossbody. But it easily fit a camera body and lens, and I liked how sturdy
it was.”
